For Facebook
I made this image in photoshop as cover-art for my Facebook page. I took the photos as well. There are two main photos. One of the bountiful temple and one of cloth. The cloth was originally white, so I had to change the color. There are also background photos of other red cloth for texture.
The man who came up with the title of liberty was Captain Moroni, a military leader in about 73 BC. You can read the original text by clicking here.

Another Shoot
It's always fun to watch the actors say their lines over and over again as the director strives to get the perfect shot. When you see the final product it always seems looks so natural, but what you don't think about is that it took five or six times to get that shot/performance to feel that way.
Fun stuff! It's cold but we're in the middle of another shoot. This one is a kind of anti-bullying campaign and I think it will turn out really well.

A Music Video
I've never helped out on a music video before, but the last couple of days I got to. I was a Producer's Assistant on a professional level project this week. We shot mostly in Bountiful and Murray. It was fun.
One of the fun parts was to see the artists lip sinc to their own music. There were a couple of main singers and I got to talk to them. Because of how fast this project needed to be done they recorded on Monday! Wow! Talk about getting things done in a hurry.
The song was about "Coming Unto Christ." They played the pre-recorded music on a laptop with some pretty good speakers and the artists lip synced.
I also really enjoyed talking to the make-up artist this time around. Ed Matsu really inspired me with some of things he said. He said he's had a lot of Spiritual experiences working on film projects is Utah. Great guy.
Fun project overall!
Jackson's Video
My friend Jackson is going to Film School at the U of U! He's a great guy. He made this video.
He was the cinematographer our Kay's Cross project.

Finally! It's Done!
Finally, I'm done with our project on Kay's Cross. I really enjoyed making it. It for sure was the longest fictional video project I've ever produced. There are five episodes total. It took a lot of work, but here it is.
A couple nights ago, I was also able to show this video project at a Halloween party. It was a Halloween party with my Church. It was fun to watch them laugh at the funny parts and take the ride along with the characters.

We also created a blog just for this project. You can read the behind the scenes story by clicking here.
I learned a lot on this project, especially how to organize people. I got to really test out my screen writing skills and I even wrote the music for this project. The music took a long time, but I enjoyed doing it. It was great!
