Finally! It's Done!

Finally, I'm done with our project on Kay's Cross. I really enjoyed making it. It for sure was the longest fictional video project I've ever produced. There are five episodes total. It took a lot of work, but here it is.

A couple nights ago, I was also able to show this video project at a Halloween party. It was a Halloween party with my Church. It was fun to watch them laugh at the funny parts and take the ride along with the characters.

We also created a blog just for this project. You can read the behind the scenes story by clicking here.

I learned a lot on this project, especially how to organize people. I got to really test out my screen writing skills and I even wrote the music for this project. The music took a long time, but I enjoyed doing it. It was great!

Editing

Wow! Editing is fun. It takes a lot of time, but I really enjoy it. I've been working on a YouTube series about Kay's Cross. Here is the link to the blog.

I'm also writing the music to this project. This is the first time I've written the music to a video project. I've actually really liked doing that as well. It sure does take time though.

Kay's Cross Project

Kay's Cross is very interesting. If you just do a Google search you'll learn a ton. Fortunately, we had the rare opportunity to actually go to the Cross and film there. The reason is because the people that own the property are doing a Spook Alley at the Cross this fall. This will be the first time and I'm personally pretty excited.

Our video project is a fictional YouTube series about three teenagers that try to unlock the mystery behind Kay's Cross.

Here is our short bonus video.

I'm producing this project and was able to gather together a great team. Jacob Zimmerman is our Director. Jackson Daneluk is our Cinematographer. Kara Ashby is an animator and Production Coordinator. We have a professional actor named Kaleb Stinger. If you Google search him you may find a few projects he and his brothers have been in. Other actors include, Elizabeth Olsen and Ethan Carlsen.

Here are some pictures of the remains of Kay's Cross.

I did this for my Aunt on Photoshop. I started off trying to do something really artistic. It was a good idea, but I didn't have the time to make it really nice. It was a sunset idea. Anyway, here's what I came up with.

Studio C

Studio C is amazing. For those of you who don't know, it's a comedy TV Show. It's clean and it's funny.

I fortunately, got to go to a live recording of the Studio C in Provo, UT. They say only 10 percent of people who try to get into those, get to go. I feel very lucky. It was incredibly fun.

Here's what I think is one of the funniest videos from Studio C.

Here are some pictures of the night I went!

Playing Around on Photoshop

I took this picture as a missionary in West Virginia. We knocked on the door. No one answered, so I don't think anyone lived there.

This was supposed to end up as a background image for this blog, but it didn't ended up making me extremely happy.

This is what it looked like before I played around with it on Photoshop.

Late Night Shoot

I volunteered on a project a couple of days ago.

It was one of the funnest shoots I've been on. We started at 2:30pm in the afternoon and went until about 6:45am in the morning. That's right! It was an all night deal. Most of the project was a night scene that takes place on the roof of a building. It's also based on a true story.

My job included craft services (snacks and dinner for the crew and cast), adjusting lighting, coordinating the extras, and taking down the set.

I thought coordinating the extras was especially fun because I've never done that on that big of a project before.

Because of the agreement I made with the producer's of the project, I can't mention specific details about the project or what website it's coming out on. It is a YouTube video and should be out in a few months.
